This 3 day circular walk for families encompasses some of the most beautiful scenery in the soutern part of the Vercors. The aim is for you to enjoy the diverse features of the landscape here.

Day 1 / Preparation and depart chez OK CORR ÂNE. You will pass by the Cime du Mas, then Combe Libouse and cross the vast plain at Vassieux. This will be a 7 or 15 kms stage (depending on the time of your departure).
(Options for accomodation 15 kms, gîte 1/2 board, camping, bivouac)
(Options for accomodation 7 kms, gîte 1/2 board or self-catering, bivouac)

Day 2 / This slightly longer (16 kms) stage takes you over the mountain pastures of chironne where you will be greeted by a panoramic view of the vast area covered by the high plateaux in the Vercors Nature Reserve - kindom of vultures ! This spectacular trail following the old Chironne mule track is steeper. It is best to leave at 9h30 so that you can stop for a picnic near Col du Rousset. If you have very young children, we think it might be better for you to follow a shorter (5 kms) circuit taking in the Préhistoric Museum at Vassieux.
(Options for accomodation : tepee 1/2 board, gîte 1/2 board if you don't want to stay in a teppe, camping, bivouac)

Day 3 / Return to OK CORR ÂNE. The paths snake through the forest of la Trompe, then have a picnic on the pastures of the Pas du Pré (approximately 6 kms from your starting point), and you will be about 8 kms from the end of the journey at OK CORR ÂNE.
